"High quality is important in prototyping as well as production but for different reasons. In production the quality requirements are defined by the customer and it is my stated company philosophy to exceed those requirements – it makes our life easier. We also participate in many development programs and make prototypes often from just the solid model. High attention to detail and tolerances is critical here to reduce the number of variables the engineer or scientist is dealing with during their development. Here it is our purpose to produce components of higher than expected quality so that our customer can focus on their design rather than the component quality / design interaction."
